Whether you are city trippers, business people, group travellers or family holidaymakers – havenhostel offers every guest an affordable retreat with that certain something.
In addition to double and multi-bed rooms, rooms suitable for the disabled or a suite can also be booked. We also offer guests with dogs a special room.
When furnishing and equipping the rooms, we have paid attention to allergy-suitable wall colours, floor coverings and fabrics. No matter what special needs allergy sufferers have for their room or food – we are able to respond to them. Smoking is not permitted in the entire house.
Our spacious double rooms with two single beds standing together. An ideal retreat for couples.
The three barrier-free 2-bed rooms are close to the lift. The bathroom is barrier-free and therefore perfectly suitable for people with walking aids or wheelchair users. The desk can be moved underneath.
Our multi-bed rooms are designed for smaller groups. The beds offer maximum flexibility and can be put together or apart as needed.
Our spacious family rooms offer plenty of room for young and old. A children's travel cot is available on request.
The suite has a living area with kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. The generous windows offer a unique view of the Elbe estuary and the passing ships. The spacious suite can be enlarged by renting another room.

We accept the following cards:

You are also welcome to give us the details of a VISA or MASTERCARD credit card. We need the name of the holder, the number of the credit card, the expiry date and the security code.
We reserve the right to authorise a credit card prior to arrival.
For individual bookings, cash payment or advance bank transfer is also possible. Please make sure that we receive the amount at least 3 working days before arrival in order to be booked in time.
Invoice payments are only possible in exceptional cases and require a written request or an acceptance of costs from an official body (company, headmaster's office, school authority, etc.) with stamp and signature - we will check this and inform you as soon as possible whether an assumption of costs is accepted.
Up to 24 hours before the day of arrival, individual rooms can be cancelled free of charge. In the case of a cancellation at short notice after 3 pm on the day before, we charge 90 percent of the room or bed rate. In case of no-show without cancellation, 100 percent will be charged.
Smoking is not permitted on our premises and is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. If a fire alarm is triggered by unauthorised smoking or the smoke detectors are deliberately tampered with, we accept no liability. Any costs incurred as a result are to be paid directly on site. If smoking has taken place in the room, an extra cleaning fee of 250 € will be charged.
We wish to treat other guests and residents with respect. For this reason, all rooms, corridors and outdoor areas are closed for the night after 10 pm. Non-observance of the nightly rest can lead to expulsion.
The maximum payload of the lift must be observed. We accept no liability in the event of improper use. The costs incurred are to be paid directly on site. Third parties are only permitted access to the rooms after prior registration at the reception. The havenhostel may deny access in individual cases. For security reasons, the public areas are under video surveillance.
The rooms are ready for occupancy from 3 pm. Luggage can be stored in the luggage room if you arrive early. If you choose Early Check-In for 25 € when booking, you are guaranteed to be in your room from 11 am. Earlier arrival upon request and availability.
Check-out is possible until 10:30 am. However, if you want to sleep in, we recommend our late check-out service for 25 euros, with which you do not have to check out until 14:00.
We warmly welcome your four-legged friend. Please note that only certain room categories are available for guests with dogs. For a small fee of 15 € per night, your dog can stay in your room. Dogs are not allowed in the dining rooms.
At check-in, KeyCards (electronic keys) are issued for each room. On departure, these must be collected and returned to reception. Additional KeyCards can be borrowed from reception for a deposit of 10 €. The loss of a KeyCard will result in a charge of 10 €.
The havenhostel has a bar and a lounge. The consumption of goods brought in is not desired in these rooms. Exceptions must be agreed with the havenhostel management. When using the WLAN, the provisions of data protection and the protection of children and young people must be observed. Violations are subject to notification.
