Via the A27, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout (Papenstr. B73). Turn right onto Kapitän-Alexander-Straße.
The A27 motorway in the direction of Cuxhaven from Friday, 22 November, 12 noon, between the Nordholz and Altenwalde junctions fully closed. The reason for this is the necessary renovation of the carriageway. The work is expected to last until 20 December.
Diversion in the direction of Cuxhaven
During the four-week construction period, northbound traffic will leave the motorway at the Nordholz junction and be routed to the Altenwalde junction via the U53 diversion. The diversion will run through Nordholz and Altenwalde via the K14 ("Wanhödener Straße"), the L135 ("Bundesstraße", "An der Bundesstraße" and "Hauptstraße") and the B73.
With one brief exception on 23 November, traffic in the direction of Bremen will not be affected by the work.

Cuxhaven is served by the KVG bus service, which makes the whole city easily accessible.
The buses on lines 1001 and 1002 can be used for journeys to the spa areas. The bus station is located directly next to Cuxhaven main station. A single ticket to the spa areas can be purchased directly from the bus driver.
