The Summer Evening by the Sea COMPETITION will be held between 12/07/2024/ 12.00 am and 25/07/2024/ 11.59 pm.

Participation is only possible via the Internet. It is voluntary and free of charge. Participants only have to pay the costs associated with participation via the internet (internet connection usage fee).

In the event of a breach of the conditions of participation, the participant may be excluded from the competition and prizes will be subsequently cancelled and reclaimed.

havenhostel Cuxhaven GmbH is providing a specially created web address for the Summer Evening by the Sea competition, https://www.havenhostel.de/gewinnspiel/which bears the joint benefit of the companies participating in the competition. For Nordseeheilbad Cuxhaven GmbH, Regionalverkehre Start Deutschland GmbH and havenhostel Cuxhaven GmbH, this is the provision of information and conditions for the Summer Evening by the Sea competition, which is described as a joint offer. These addresses will lose their validity shortly after the end of the competition and will no longer be available.

Participation

Participation takes place by completing the entry form displayed on the website completely and truthfully https://www.havenhostel.de/de/gewinnspiel/.

Natural persons resident in the Federal Republic of Germany who have reached the age of 18 are eligible to participate. The prize providers reserve the right to request proof of age. Excluded from participation are employees of Nordseeheilbad Cuxhaven GmbH, all companies of DB AG, which includes Regionalverkehre Start Deutschland GmbH, as well as havenhostel Deutschland GmbH and their relatives.

Participation is only permitted once per person. Multiple registrations will be cancelled except for the first version. Participation via competition services, automated mass participation procedures of third parties or other manipulations are not permitted.

After the closing date for entries, a total of two prizes will be selected from all participants in a non-public draw. The prizes provided will count together as one main prize, which can be won once by a competition participant during the campaign.

The winner will be notified by e-mail to the e-mail address provided when entering the competition via the entry form, stating first and last name, optional: postcode.

The winners must confirm the prize by email to gewinnspiel.cux@havenhostel.de, stating their first name, surname, age and postal address by 29 July 2024, 11.59 pm, otherwise the claim to the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn.

It is not possible to unsubscribe from the competition after submitting the relevant entry form and confirming the conditions of participation.

Prices

The total value of the prizes provided in the Summer Evening by the Sea competition is 472 euros. The prize includes two overnight stays in a 2-bed room for 2 adults at the havenhostel Cuxhaven, including a tasting of the ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT-AND-DRINK breakfast buffet per person, in each case directly following the two overnight stays. The prize also includes travel vouchers from DB AG worth a total of 68 euros. These can be redeemed when purchasing a DB service at all DB travel centres, DB agencies, at DB ticket machines, at the DB travel service and on bahn.de (valid until 2028). We recommend purchasing two Niedersachsen-Tickets for 2 people for arrival and departure, which together have a total value of 68 euros (as of 11 July 2024). The time of redemption of the prize component, in this case 'overnight stays' and its components, will take place exclusively on the event day 'Summer Evening by the Sea', on 3 August 2024, as well as on a presented arrival day and a subsequent departure day. There is no entitlement to any other period for the redemption of this prize component. The prize component, in this case 'return journey', can be redeemed in a different period, see above. Cash payment of the individual prize components or the entire prize is not possible from the prize providers, not even pro rata.

The guest contribution for two persons, as a local tax according to the respective municipal law, is included in the first-mentioned, provided profit component and is paid via the accommodation provider, in this case havenhostel Cuxhaven GmbH, which is obliged to collect and pay the tax. Data protection

The providers of the prize components of the Summer Evening by the Sea competition are Regionalverkehre Start Deutschland GmbH/ Start Unterelbe, Am Bahnhof 1 in 27472 Cuxhaven and havenhostel Deutschland GmbH, Kapitän-Alexander-Straße 16 in 27472 Cuxhaven.

The e-mail address provided will be used for correspondence in connection with the competition. The first name and surname are required for the competition name to identify and address the winner. In addition to the e-mail address and full name, the address and date of birth are also required if the competition is won, as participants must live in the Federal Republic of Germany and be at least 18 years old. This data will only be used for the purposes of the competition.

Liability

The prize providers are only liable for intent and gross negligence on the part of the competition organiser within the scope of the prize provided. Essential contractual obligations are those that make the realisation of the competition possible in the first place and on which the participant could and did rely. In the event of only a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, liability is limited to compensation for damages typical of the contract and foreseeable at the time of use of the website. This limitation of liability does not apply to damages culpably caused by the prize provider resulting from injury to life, limb or health or to liability under the legal provisions of the hotel and catering industry or the Passenger Transport Act (PBefG).

Miscellaneous

The prize providers reserve the right to cancel the competition at any time within the campaign provided if there is an important reason, while safeguarding the legal interests of the participant.

Legal recourse is excluded.
